Reception & KS1: Handa’s Surprise, Winnie the Witch, and We’re Going on a Bear Hunt are all still popular but any key text can be used as a stimulus for dance activity

KS2:Peter Pan, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, A.A Milne books and Edward Lear /Hilaire Belloc poems (i.e. The Jumblies & Matilda)

KS2 & KS3 & KS4:stories used have included The Tempest, Romeo and Juliet, Macbeth as well as various works of classic and contemporary literary fiction.

The workshop format itself is very flexible and can be adapted to work with just about any story, play or poem.
